THE LOCATION

Our house is located amidst an olive grove outside the village of Ano Gatzea.

On our property, you have access to a private parking space.

The best way to reach our house is by plane, ferry, or car. The area is best explored with a vehicle.

Arrival by Plane: Volos Airport is directly served from early April to late October, e.g., from Düsseldorf or Munich. Alternatively, flights to Thessaloniki (approximately 2.5 hours by car from Pelion) and Athens (approximately 4 hours by car from Pelion) are available.

Arrival by Ferry: From Venice, Ancona, or Bari, you can take ferries almost daily during the travel season to the port of Igoumenitsa. We recommend using ANEK LINES. From there, you can drive mostly on the highway for about 4 hours to reach Pelion.

Arrival by Land: Some vacationers travel via the former "Balkan route" on the E75, a well-developed highway across the countries of the former Yugoslavia.
